Faecolith causing large bowel obstruction

Abdominal pain, vomiting. Empty colostomy. History of total abdominal hysterectomy and Hartmann's. ?Large bowel obstruction.

Patient Data

Age: 60
Gender: Female

Distension of large with transition at descending colon. 4cm faecolith left mid abdomen.

Large bowel obstruction due to impacted faecolith in descending colon. Incidental hiatus hernia.

Impacted faecolith causing large bowel obstruction.
