Bilateral and relatively symmetrical calcifications of the dentate nuclei, basal ganglia mainly the head of caudate nuclei, thalami, lentiform nuclei (globus pallidus) as well as the subcortical white matter of the frontal regions.

Case Discussion

Bilateral symmetrical calcifications of the cerebellar dentate nuclei, basal ganglia, and subcortical white matter are most consistent with Fahr disease.
