Patient Data

Age: 65
Gender: Female
ct

No intracranial masses, hemorrhage or collections. Normal grey-white matter differentiation. Ventricles and sulci are age-appropriate. Incidental 2 mm fat density locules in the superior sagittal sinus and straight sinus near the torcula, which are uncommon but incidental findings

No skull fracture. Large skin and scalp are defect in the left frontal region with subcutaneous gas locules tracking further posteriorly is compatible with a large laceration. Associated small to moderate scalp hematoma.

Small amounts of fat are a common finding incidentally in dural sinuses.
