14 month history of progressive memory loss, personality change and expressive dysphasia. ACE 35/100

Patient Data

Age: 75 years
Gender: Male

Atrophic brain changes, notably on frontotemporal lobes.

Nuclear medicine

There is marked hypometabolism in the frontal lobes bilaterally. Moderate hypometabolism is also seen in the lateral parietal lobes. Uptake in the precuneus is relatively preserved. The pattern would be most in keeping with behavioral variant frontotemporal dementia.
