This CT angiogram demonstrates a filling defect extending from distal right external iliac artery into superficial femoral artery suggestive of an occlusive thrombus. The left internal iliac artery is occluded. Thrombus is also noted at the origin of coeliac trunk. There is evidence of splenic infarction. Filling defects in left atrium and ventricle also suspicious of thrombus formation.
Case Discussion
The patient underwent a femoral endarterectomy. Multiple arterial thromboses noted in this patient could be due to her atrial fibrillation.
