Right hip pain and limited movement after falling down

Patient Data

Age: 70 years old
Gender: Male

The initial X ray was interpreted as normal

Impacted fracture of the right femoral neck with associated marrow edema, minimal effusion and muscle edema of the obturator externus, pectinues and adductor muscles.

Case Discussion

Impacted fracture of the right femoral neck .
Osteoporosis is a risk factor for femoral neck fractures
