Presentation

A primi came for an obstetric scan at 13 weeks with history of pain in abdomen and spotting.

Patient Data

Age: 20 years
Gender: Female
ultrasound

Fetal calvarium is absent and brain tissue is seen freely floating in the amniotic fluid. There were no other associated abnormalities like CHD or skeletal dysplasia.
