Cephalic fetus with back anterior.
There is bilateral fetal hydronephrosis, the AP diameter of renal pelvis on the right reaches 11.7 mm and on the left 6.7 mm. There is calyceal dilatation, more pronounced on right side. Filled urinary bladder at time of examination.
Case Discussion
In third trimester, if measurement of AP diameter of renal pelvis exceeds 5 mm it is considered mild fetal hydronephrosis and if exceeds 10 mm it is considered persistent hydronephrosis.
