Presentation

Torticolis with swelling of the right sternocleidomastoid muscle.

Patient Data

Age: 2 weeks
Gender: Female
ultrasound

There is a fusiform enlargement of the right sternocleidomastoid muscle (2.6 x 1.3 cm), slightly hypoechoic as compared to the normal left side with no significant disruption of the muscular architecture. 

Normal appearance of the thyroid gland.
