Presentation

Firmness over distribution of the left sternocleidomastoid ?Lymph node ?Branchial cyst.

Patient Data

Age: 3 months
Gender: Male
Ultrasound

Left sternocleidomastoid is diffusely and asymmetrically enlarged comapred to the right. No discrete mass or cervical lymphadenopathy. 

Case Discussion

Typical appearances of fibromatosis colli (sternocleidomastoid pseudotumour). At the time of scanning the patient's parents reported that the mass had decreased in the preceding weeks.
