Presentation

Worsening left hip pain.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Female

Shepherd crook deformity of the left femur with a large, irregular lucent lesion expanding the femoral neck through proximal diaphysis. Some early cortical breakthrough along the anterior margin. 

Few smaller lucencies in the left pelvis/acetabulum. 

Case Discussion

Typical features of polyostotic fibrous dysplasia of the left hip with early pathologic fracture of the femoral neck.
