Fibular remodeling secondary to tibial osteochondroma

Presentation

Young male with ankle pain and swelling. No history of trauma.

Patient Data

Age: 10-20
Gender: Male

CT showing well-defined exostosis/osteochondroma with cortical continuity arising from the distal posterolateral aspect of the tibia, causing remodeling and sclerosis of the distal fibula. 

Case Discussion

This case shows that osteochondromas may cause compression of adjacent structures or bone deformity due to pressure symptoms.
