Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male
Minimally displaced avulsion fracture of the fifth metatarsal styloid. No further fracture identified. Skeletal alignment within normal limits.

Case Discussion

The proximal aspect of the fifth metatarsal is a check area on all ankle and foot x-rays.
