Hyperextension injury of the right thumb.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Female

The metacarpophalangeal joint of the thumb is dislocated, with dorsal displacement of the proximal phalanx. No associated fracture noted.

Post reduction

Normal alignment of metacarpophalangeal joint of the right thumb with satisfactory reduction of joint.
