Small gestational sac in the endometrial cavity of the uterus in keeping with a 5-6 week pregnancy.
No evidence of residual disease from the known ovarian cancer.
Case Discussion
Vigilance should be followed at all times with female of child bearing age attending for ionizing radiation imaging investigations.
Always check the possibility of pregnancy, whatever the circumstance.
Follow the 10 day rule
Ask regarding the last menstrual period.
If in doubt - perform a urinary pregnancy test first.
