Presentation

History of congenital talipes equinovarus.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Female

Right more than left pes planovalgus with bilateral forefoot adduction. Mild flattening of the right talar dome. No flattening of the left talar dome. No ankle osteoarthritis. No Achilles tendon calcification/ossification. 

Case Discussion

Flat-top talus is a complication of congenital talipes equinovarus / clubfoot, and whether it is idiopathic or related to surgical and non-surgical treatments is controversial. The treatment history of this patient is not known.
