ultrasound

Well-defined oval anechoic avascular mass with posterior acoustic enhancement at the palmar aspect of the third flexor tendon at the level of the metacarpophalangeal joint / A1 pulley.

Case Discussion

Ganglion cysts of the hand are common with flexor tendon sheath location accounting for ~10% of cases.
