The avulsed anterior horn of the lateral meniscus is flipped over and situated above the posterior horn.

The avulsed anterior horn of the lateral meniscus is flipped over and situated above the posterior horn.

Disproportionate posterior horn sign (meniscal tear) is a feature described with a meniscal tear having a posteriorly flipped fragment.
