Floating thrombus in brachiocephalic vein

A 22 years-old lady had upper extremity swelling after strenuous exercises which subsided after 3 days. She was examined complaining for a lump in the axillae. US showed distension of the axillary vein an a floating thrombus in the brachiocephalic vein .

Patient Data

Age: 22 yrs
Gender: Female

A mobile of mixed echogenicity  mass attached to the subclavian vein wall, reaching the level of the brachiocephalic vein.
