Presentation

Intensive care patient with necrotizing pancreatitis. Prior CT guided drainage of a peripancreatic collection. NJ tube insertion requested.

Age: 65
Gender: Male
Fluoroscopy

The dudoneal C-loop is well demonstrated with the tip of the NJ tube at the D-J junction (Ligament of Treitz).

The pigtail catheter in the upper abdomen is the previously inserted peri-pancreatic collection drainage catheter.
