Focal acute pancreatitis

The pancreas is enlarged, particularly at the body and tail, accompanied by surrounding fat stranding. No peripancreatic fluid accumulation or evidence of parenchymal necrosis is noted in the current study.
The prostate gland is enlarged.
Mild degenerative changes as osteophytosis are seen at the lumbar spine.
Grade I spondylolisthesis of L5 on S1 is present with bilateral spondylolysis.
Case Discussion
Features on CT scan in correlation with physical exam findings and elevated amylase and lipase tests, suggestive of focal acute pancreatitis.
