Knee pain.
Patient Data
A small localized nodular synovial proliferation is seen indenting the superolateral aspect of the infra-patellar Hoffa's pad of fat, it is seen demonstrating hypointense T1 and hyperintense STIR / PD fat suppression signal. It measures 14 x 13 x 11 mm in its main diameters.
Mild joint effusion.
No meniscal tear. Intact cruciate and collateral ligaments. Intact articular cartilage. No marrow signal abnormality.
