Football player complains of a chronic left anteromedial dorsal foot lump.

Patient Data

Age: 15 years
Gender: Male
mri
  • no joint effusion

  • thickening of the tendon of the extensor digitorum longus muscle

  • soft tissue edema and around the tendon of the extensor digitorum longus muscle

  • no soft tissue mass

Case Discussion

Features of tendinopathy of the left extensor digitorum longus muscle. The patient did not complain of pain or motion restriction. The traumatic origin of the tendinopathy is probable considering the patient's activity (footballer).
