Foraminal lumbar disc herniation

Presentation

Radicular left lower limb pain.

Patient Data

Age: 55 years
Gender: Male

A predominantly foraminal, about left-sided L4-5 disc herniation is visible, which extends cranially and is about 8 mm. The herniation is indenting the exiting nerve root approximately at the dorsal root ganglion. 

Other: diffuse degenerative changes, multiple small vertebral body hemangiomas.
