Forearm abscess

Fever followed by forearm odema - 6 days. No trauma. USG to rule out vascular thrombosis

Patient Data

Age: 40 yrs

Multiple abscess pockets in forearm flexure muscles mainly in flexure digitorum profundus and flexure digitorum superficialis. No vascular thrombus / occlusion is noted. No elbow or wrist effusion.


After US diagnosis of abscess, radiograph was done to look for osteomyelitis. No bony changes.
