Case Discussion
Forearm fractures are the most common long bone fractures in children. Fall onto the outstretched hand is the main mechanism of injury.
Although associated injuries aren't as common in skeletally immature patients, it's still important to investigate other injuries, mostly on the carpus and elbow. Which were not present in this case.
