Thorn injury to forearm 15 days back. Complains of local pain, swelling.

Linear echogenic focus in subcutaneous plane - foreign body, measuring ~30 mm in length x 2 mm in thickness. Surrounding hypoechoic area - granuloma, abutting tendon sheath. Mild thickening of adjacent tendon sheath without effusion. No tendon tear.
Radial artery - vessel passes superficial to foreign body.
Radial artery and vein are patent.
Superficial subcutaneous vein is patent.
Underlying cortex of radius - no cortical irregularity.
