Clinical picture of foreign body - fish bone in esophagus.

Xray for soft tissue of neck Lat view
About 18 mm long linear density is noted in in prevertebral soft tissue at C5, C6 level.
It is posterior to trachea. No abnormal air is noted locally. Loss of cervical lordosis is noted. Height of the vertebral bodies is normal.
An echogenic linear focus is noted in lumen of proximal oeophagus - Foreign body .
Thickening of osteophageal wall is noted in neck with hypervascularity.
No abnormal air is noted in periesophageal region.
Case Discussion
Findings suggestive of foreign body ( fish bone) in proximal esophagus.
Removed surgically after 1 hour of ultrasound.
