Incidental finding of a notch-like bony defect on the inferior surface of the ventral clivus in the basiocciput which appears to be filled by lymphoid tissue of the pharyngeal tonsil.
Case Discussion
The notch-shape defect on the inferior surface of the ventral clivus is an anatomical variant of the skull base known as fossa navicularis magna.
