The shortened 4th metacarpal bone that had no relation to the recent history of trauma.

Case Discussion

The differential diagnosis for the 4th metacarpal bone hypoplasia:

  • pseudohypoparathyroidism
  • normal variant (idiopathic)
  • cleidocranial dysostosis
