Presentation

Inability to move the left arm and leg, as well as deviation of the lip corner to the right side.

At level of the pons, a hypodense area is identified in right ventromedial region.

Case Discussion

This patient presented a subacute ischemic stroke at the level of the pons. Given its location, the corticospinal tract and the nucleus of the facial nerve were mostly affected.
