T1W low signal and PD fat suppressed high signal geographic line delineating a fragment of avascular necrosis in the head of the first metatarsal, associated with joint effusion and capsular distention along with the first metatarsophalangeal joint.
Case Discussion
MR images revealed edema in the head of first metatarsal - consistent with Freiberg avascular necrosis.
