The head of the second metatarsal bone is seen flattened with irregularity and mixed subarticular sclerosis/edema of its articular surface is noted.
A small loose bony fragment is seen at the medial aspect of the right 2nd metatarsophalangeal joint.
Findings are suggestive of underlying osteochondrosis i.e. Freiberg disease.
