Progessive ataxia. Family history. Recent fall ? injury

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Female

Enlarged sulci between the folia of the cerebellum with an enlarged IVth ventricle.  Minor cerebral atrophy (for a 25 year old)

Case Discussion

Global cerebellar atrophy of the hemispheres and vermis. No history of alcoholism and no associated pontine atrophy as may occur in olivo-pontine cerebellar atrophy.
