Fungal sinusitis: mucormycosis

A diabetic female presents with headache and nasal blockage.

Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Female

Pansinusitis is seen with hyperdense attenuation contents in nasal cavity and sinuses. A rhinolith can also be seen in right nasal cavity. Associated erosion of bone forming sinuses and floor of middle cranial fossa is seen.
