Diagnosis possible

Presentation

Right scrotal and inguinal pain for 3 days.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Male
ultrasound

Right spermatic cord is thickened and more echogenic than normal. Increased vascularity is seen in cord at rest.

Mild reactive hydrocele was present on right side.

No signs of right orchitis was noted.

Features are in keeping with funiculitis (inflammation of spermatic cord).
