  • MRI demonstrates irregular, sessile mural thickening.
  • Note is also made of several rounded, T2-hyperintense cavities (pearl necklace sign) representing intramural diverticula. 

Altogether these findings are in line with adenomyomatosis of the gallbladder fundus.
