Gallbladder adenomyomatosis with intramural diverticulosis

Gallbladder shows a diffuse wall thickening with sludge, calculi and pseudo-cystic mural images. Biliary tract is not dilated.
Case Discussion
There are three macroscopic forms of adenomyomatosis: segmental, between the gallbladder neck and fundus, the fundal form limited to the fundus and the diffuse form to parietal thickening involving the entire wall. Adenomyomatosis is a benign lesion with epithelial, mucosal, and muscular hypertrophy. The gallbladder wall has a thickened appearance with diverticula that are mucosal invaginations into the muscularis of the wall.
