Presentation

Known case of cirrhosis with abdominal distension.

Patient Data

Age: about 50 yrs
Gender: Male
Modality: Ultrasound

Bilobed gall bladder. Cystic duct could not be localized.Hepatic parenchymal disease. Dilated non-thrombosed portal vein. Moderate to gross ascites is present.

Case Discussion

Findings of bi-lobed gall bladder. However, cystic duct could not be traced.

Hepatic parenchymal disease with dilated portal vein  ( portal hypertension ) and ascites.
