The patient was on a drug from the cephalosporin class prior to an abdominal ultrasound.

The gallbladder is contracted with an edematous wall. There are echogenic foci in the gallbladder lumen without posterior acoustic shadowing.

US 1 wk after discontinuation of the antimicrobial agent
The gallbladder is distended with normal wall thickness. It shows anechoic lumen.
Case Discussion
A child with fever had an ultrasound. The USG showed sludge in the gallbladder. The patient was on a cephalosporin-class agent pre-USG.
Follow up ultrasound one week after discontinuation of the agent showed the absence of gall bladder sludge/pseudolithiasis.
