Gallbladder shaped opacity is seen at the right upper quadrant. This image is compatible with multiple stones completely filling the gallbladder. The differential includes vicarious contrast excretion but there is no history of administration of contrast material. And ultrasound examination verified the gallstones.
Case Discussion
X-ray images may provide information about gallstones especially if the stones are calcified. This can be confused with contrast filled gallbladder and thus knowledge of the clinical history of patient is critical for accurate diagnosis
