Multiple tiny echogenic foci diffusely involving the splenic parenchyma.

Case Discussion

Gamna Gandy bodies or splenic siderotic nodules are most commonly encountered in portal hypertension. The pathophysiological process is the result of microhemorrhage resulting in hemosiderin and calcium deposition followed by fibroblastic reaction.
