Non-painful progressively increased ring finger swelling with limitation of flexion.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Male

Unilocular cystic lesion with well-defined margin is seen inseparable from and partially encasing the volar aspect of the flexor tendon of the ring finger. It elicits fluid-like signal pattern. The flexor tendon underneath shows normal appearance.

MRI features of a ganglion cyst of the tendon sheath, volar aspect (flexor tendon). Most ganglion cysts occur at hand and wrist.
