Axial PD
A well-defined cystic swelling is seen insinuated between the bases of the first and second metacarpals which projects dorsally beneath the skin surface. It shows homogeneous fluid signals.
Case Discussion
A ganglion cyst is a fluid-filled cystic extension of the joint capsules and tendon sheaths. It is commonly involving the hand and wrist regions, usually asymptomatic.
