Presentation

Painful nodule on palmer aspect of 5th metacarpal head region - 15 days No trauma USG for local pathology

Patient Data

Age: 30
Gender: Female

A well-defined anechoic, thin walled lesion is noted in the region of interest.

Location  - overlying 5th metacarpo-phalangeal joint.

Abutts - ulnar aspect of A1 pully of 5th digit.

Joint or tendon extension  - Could not be seen

No thickening of A1 pully is noted.

Dynemic scan shows free movement of flexure tendons through A1 pully.

No joint effusion or palmer plate abnormality is noted.

No tendinosis or tenosynovitis is noted.
