Presentation

Cough and breathlessness.

Patient Data

Age: 5 years
Gender: Male

There is a left paravertebral well-circumscribed mass lesion, extending from the T5 - T10 vertebral levels. The mass is soft tissue density with no calcification. No bone erosion or destruction.

MRI is recommended.

Left paravertebral lesion, heterogeneous T2 high signal. There is no evidence of extension into the spinal canal.

Case Discussion

Imeaging appearances are suggestive of neurogenic tumor.

The lesion was removed and ganglioneuroma was confirmed.

On follow up CT there wasn't any pathological changes.
