Presentation

Acute cholecystitis diagnosed a few days ago, now with fever and pain

Age: 50 years
Gender: Male

Markedly distended gallbladder, which presents partial hyperemia with inflammatory changes of adjacent adipose tissue. The caudal aspect of the gallbladder does not exhibit enhancement using intravenous contrast , compatible with partial necrosis.
