Gas-containing lumbar disc herniations

Diffuse spondylosis, seen as marginal osteophytes and subenplate sclerosis.
Decreased height of intervertebral discs at L2-3, L3-4, L4-5 and L5-S1 levels with vacuum phenomenon. Multiple degenerative disc herniation is noted at these levels with intradiscal air, more on L2-3 and L3-4 levels.
Facet joint arthropathy, especially on lower lumbar levels.
