Autopsy specimen of the distal esophagus and stomach to the first part of the duodenum, opened longitudinally demonstrates two shallow ulcers one in the antrum and one in the pylorus. No features to suggest that these are acute, as there is no mucosal erythema or granulation tissue. No blood in the base.
