Abdominal pain and distension.
Patient Data
Mild increased wall thickness is seen at distal gastric antrum and pylorus suggesting tumoral infiltration and causing gastric distension. The mass infiltrates superior aspect of pancreatic head. The pancreatic duct distal to infiltration site is dilated.
Increased wall thickness is noted at distal gastric antrum and pylorus inferring tumoral infiltration and causing gastric distension. The mass infiltrates superior aspect of pancreatic head. The pancreatic duct distal to infiltration site is dilated. There is no sign of vascular encasement.
Case Discussion
This is a pathology proven case of distal gastric adenocarcinoma that invades adjacent pancreatic head.
